Generational Transfer
We develop Succession Plans: comprehensive action processes that support the family project in the long term.
Some processes and decisions that occur during this stage:
- Definition of the future ownership structure (shareholders or partners)
- Configuration of Boards of Directors (types and number of directors)
- Evaluation of governing bodies in the company and in the family (efficiency and strategies)
- Identifying leadership in the next generation (competencies and expectations).
- Review and development of the documentary base (Family Agreements or Protocols, Wills, Social Statutes)
Family Governance
We create or activate Family Councils: a family governing body where the terms of the Family-Business relationship are defined, and decisions are made regarding it.
Some of the processes and decisions that take place in the Family Council have the following objectives:
- To agree on the Family's vision and strategy, in relation to the shared business and/or asset project.
- To train the Next Generation as future responsible owners and/or advisors, and to enable the generation of trust among the young members of the family.
- Plan and lead succession processes (in ownership, governance and/or relevant executive positions).
- To guide the Board of Directors and the management of the Family Office in relation to the consistency of their agendas with the strategic lines, objectives and values defined by the family.
